Little Rock runs about 1.40% of price, Saline County about 1.09%, Conway about 1.01%, before the $600 Arkansas homestead credit. Assessed value resets when you buy, so the seller's old bill is not your bill.

Roughly $3,300 to $4,200 a year on a typical home. Arkansas sits in hail and tornado country and the rates show it.

Which communities do you serve?

All of Pulaski, Saline, Faulkner, and Lonoke Counties, plus Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village in Garland County. If it is within about an hour of Little Rock, we have probably closed there.

How much are property taxes in Pulaski County?

Arkansas assesses at 20 percent of appraised value and applies local millage. Little Rock's total millage puts a new buyer near 1.40 percent of price in the first full year, minus the $600 homestead credit on a primary residence. Maumelle, Conway, Bryant, and Cabot run closer to 1.0 to 1.1 percent. After year one, Amendment 79 caps assessed value growth at 5 percent a year.

Do you help sellers as well as buyers?
