How it works

What this lookup can and cannot tell you

Where the answer comes from

When you pick an address, the lookup finds it in the Pulaski Area GIS address file, then checks which block of the county's Little Rock School District attendance-zone map that point falls inside. Every block carries an elementary, a middle and a high school. Nothing is estimated and nothing is drawn by us.

What can change

Zones are set by the school board and the county map can lag behind a vote. In August 2026 the board adopted new high school zones for the opening of Little Rock West High, planned for 2027, so the high school shown here reflects the zones in place today. Magnet and charter schools do not use attendance zones at all.

Confirm it before you write an offer

If a school is the reason you are buying, confirm the address with LRSD Student Registration at 501-447-2950 before your option period ends, or ask us and we will do it. For Maumelle, Sherwood and the rest of the Pulaski County Special School District, call 501-234-2021.

How do I find which school my Little Rock address is zoned for?

Type the street address into the lookup on this page. It finds the address in the Pulaski Area GIS address file and checks which block of the county's Little Rock School District attendance-zone map it falls in, then shows the elementary, middle and high school. Confirm with LRSD Student Registration at 501-447-2950 before you rely on it.

Are Little Rock high school zones changing?

Yes. In August 2026 the Little Rock School Board adopted new high school zones for the opening of Little Rock West High, planned for 2027. Students already enrolled can stay at their high school through graduation. Elementary and middle school zones were left as they are for now.

Does this lookup work for Maumelle, Sherwood or North Little Rock?

No. It covers the Little Rock School District only. Maumelle and Sherwood are served by the Pulaski County Special School District, which you can reach at 501-234-2021. Send us the address and we will make the call for you.

Is a neighborhood's school the same for every house in it?

Often not. Several Little Rock neighborhoods are split between elementary schools, and the district line runs through Chenal because the LRSD boundary was fixed to the city limits by a 1985 federal appeals court ruling. The address decides the school, not the neighborhood name.
