Yes. Which NWA communities do you cover?

All of Benton and Washington Counties: Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, Centerton, Fayetteville, Springdale, Siloam Springs, and the towns in between. If you are looking at Carroll or Madison County, ask; we can usually help or refer you well.

How much are property taxes in Benton and Washington County?

Arkansas assesses at 20 percent of appraised value and applies local millage, and the assessed value resets to what you paid when you buy. That puts a new buyer in Bentonville near 1.24 percent of price in year one, Rogers near 1.09 percent, and Fayetteville near 1.15 percent, minus the $600 homestead credit on a primary residence. After year one, Amendment 79 caps assessed value growth at 5 percent a year.

Is Northwest Arkansas still a good place to buy?

It has been one of the fastest-growing metros in America for two decades, and the fundamentals behind that growth are still here. That does not mean every home at every price is a wise buy.
